Introduction

I am Donna Phelps, by day an Administrative Assistant, by any other time a student, mom, grandmother, entrepreuner, photographer, and musician. I am a third year IASC student, and as of this year, joined the digital expression stream. I am enjoying the classes although at times feel a bit out in left field as so much is new to me---and I was trained in a very scribal, non-technological way. I mean, I learned to type on a manual typewriter that didn't even have the letters on it! [Even before the Selectric!] AND, you had to push the return bar each time you were done with a line of type! It has been a long road to arrive at this point in my studies, and I can only use the word, EXCITED!!! to be on track again with my studies and I truly enjoy both the students who's path I cross, and instructors. It's been a real treat and I look forward to this class on Intermedia, despite knowing I'll hit a few 'blank moments' along the way! :)
